Beto Vazquez Infinity is back with its new album “Darkmind”. As on the previous albums you’ll find guests such Sandra Scheleret (Elis), Marcela Bovio (Stream Of Passion), Olaf Thorson (Vision Divine), Sabrina Carrion (Heaven Falls), Kiara Laetitia (Skylark), Ivana Anic Lara (Angelseed), Elisa Luna (Last Union), Rute Feveriero (EnChanTya /Black Widows). Eddy Antonini, Manda Ophuis (Nemesea) and Pablo G. Soler and some others.

 The rest of the group is composed with the vocalist Jessica Lehto, Victor Rivarola (lead and backing vocals), Karina Varela (lead and backing vocals), Carlos Ferrari (lead and rhythm guitar), Lucas Pereyra (lead and rhythm guitar, programming, orchestral arrangements), Norberto Roman (drums).

The album contains 12 songs and runs over 51 minutes. The style is still the same, with symphonic parts play at keyboards and very present symphonic arrangements, pretty well composed and strong and powerful guitars.

Most of the songs are calm ones and the album contains a lot of ballads, but still you’ll find powerful parts. The album has the benefit of a good production which reflects pretty well the voices of the female vocalists.

A lot of works has been done on the vocals side. The voices of the vocalists are nicely posed on the music especially on the low tempo songs.
“Darkmind” is a very good album to listen in a quiet and peaceful room.

The fans of melodic and symphonic metal should appreciate it. Beto Vazquez plays bass, keyboards, rhythmic and lead guitars, wrote the lyrics, and did the programming and the arrangements.

A principios del año 2009, me junte con mi amigo Dario Schmunck, cantante de Opera (tenor) con el cual compartíamos siempre la inquietud de hacer algo juntos. Nuestros caminos musicales fueron diferentes, pero ambos comenzamos a escuchar la misma música y compartimos la magia de muchos talentos entre ellos, Ronnie James Dio, siendo un referente musical y un icono inspirador para ambos.

Lo había invitado a Dario para participar en este nuevo proyecto mío, y a modo de gusto personal, decidimos hacer algo diferente, y surgió la idea de hacer algún tema de Dio, como bonus track, pero tenia que ser algo distinto, especial.

Entonces Dario me propuso un tema llamado TO LIVE FOR THE KING. Que era interpretado por Ronnie, perteneciente al álbum llamado  Seeds Of Change (1980) de  Kerry Livgren, (músico y compositor, más conocido por su trabajo en el grupo KANSAS)

El tema fue grabado en Buenos Aires, Argentina en los *Mercury Studios*, durante Noviembre de 2009, como puede verse en nuestro sitio Oficial.

Todo esto sin saber que hoy este tema se convierte  en un tributo.
Solo queríamos hacer un homenaje a nuestro mentor musical, en vida.

Y hacer este  tema interpretado por un tenor del teatro Colon Argentino, (Dario) en una versión diferente, hecha por  músicos para el más grande de los músicos, me llenaba y llena de orgullo. Tanto por la participación de mi amigo Dario y por que sencillamente era  algo que ambos queríamos hacer.

Hoy tanto Dario como yo, deseamos que esto que para nosotros era darnos un gusto musical personal, sea entonces un homenaje a Ronnie James Dio.

Le enviamos nuestros mas sinceros respetos a la familia y a todos los que de una u otra forma, se maravillaron igual que nosotros, con la magia del más grande.

In early 2009, I got together with my friend Dario Schmunck, Opera singer (Tenor) with whom we shared the dream of do something together.
Our musical paths were different, but both began to hear the same music and share the magic of many talents including Ronnie James Dio, being our favorite singer and inspirational icon for both.

I invited Dario  to participate in this new project of mine, and to fulfill a personal dream for both of us, so we decided to do something different, and the idea was making a song from Dio, as a bonus track, but had to be something different, special.

Dario then suggest me a song called TO LIVE FOR THE KING. That was interpreted by Ronnie, and part of the album called Seeds Of Change (1980) by Kerry Livgren (musician and composer, best known for his work in the group KANSAS)

The track was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the *Mercury Studios* during November 2009, as can be seen in our Official Site.

All this without knowing that today, this song becomes a tribute.
We just wanted to make something for our musical mentor,in life.

And make this song , interpreted by an Argentinean Colon Theatre Singer (Dario) in a different version, made by musicians for musicians ,filled me  with  pride. Not only for my friend Dario participation but for it  was just something we both wanted to do.

Today ,Dario and I , wish that this special song that was meant to be for  a personal musical dream to achieve, becomes  a tribute to Ronnie James Dio.

We send our most sincere respects to the family and all those who in one way or another, got amazed, just as we were, with the magic of the singer of singers.
